The short film Esther revolves around a protagonist who feels overwhelmed and paralyzed by the negativity and violence she witnesses daily. This emotional weight leads her to question God, herself, and the meaning of life. However, the turning point comes when she realizes the need to break free from this passive state and reconnect with her emotions, senses, and nature.
This transformation helps her reclaim her life in a positive way, re-establishing a sense of connection with herself, the world, and her capacity to love and believe again. The film was co-written and directed by Alexandra Bejar and Dorota Stanczyk, with photography by Jean-Cristophe Torrés and music by Jeff Mory.
